May Favourites

Happy June! It's been a while since I've done one of these, monthly favourites have always been some of my favourite posts to read (and write) so I'm really excited for this month's edition.

May was filled with 6 am starts, numerous cans of Redbull and copious amounts of studying. My final exams finished exactly a week ago, but I'm still getting used to all this free time (students will understand that *guilty feeling* of 'I should be studying' that hits us like a brick wall after the last exam). So enough babble, on to the things that made May a little more manageable.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette // Having lusted after this for so long I finally made the plunge, and boy I don't regret it one bit. I mentioned this in my recent haul post and I'll say it again - never have I used such highly pigmented eyeshadows, I absolutely love every single shade & I know I'll get tons of wear out of this (I'd better, it cost a bomb after all!)

Gold Magic Eau De Parfum 100 ml // I've bought this in the past and it's solidly become one of my signature scents, but I found this massive one in my local TK Maxx and knew I had to get a refill. This has such a unique scent but for the price it lasts for hours. It's slightly musky but quite floral as well, making it perfect for both winter and special occasions.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% // One of the products which definitely helped me out during those sleepless studying days. I'll be doing a full review of The Ordinary products *very soon* - but this is solidly my favourite of the bunch. This undereye serum helps reduce puffiness and dark circles. Now, I've long accepted that my dark circles are mainly hereditary and there's no way I'll completely get rid of them, but this has definitely made my crazy sleeping schedule look less noticeable on my eyes. I remember not using this for a few days and I definitely noticed the difference, so it's a keeper!

Nivea for Men Sensitive Post-Shave Balm // I know, I know - I'm a little late to the party. But I was in serious need of a new primer and my Benefit Porefessional was starting to break my out so I needed something less 'silicone-y' and opted for this. My, was I impressed. It hasn't broken me out one bit and a little definitely goes a long way. My makeup stays in place so no complaints on that front. I definitely think this will be a solid product in my makeup collection.

What were your favourite products in May?

Keep it real,

Zahra D x
